MAISON NOIRPrivate Wine House

The House

Founded on a simple refusal

Maison Noir began when three sommeliers refused to sell a great bottle to someone in a hurry.

Maison Noir was founded on the belief that extraordinary wine deserves an unhurried home. Not a marketplace, not a catalogue — a house, with a cellar, a table, and people who remember your name and your last bottle.

We collect narrowly and deliberately. Fewer than one in two hundred wines offered to us is accepted, and each arrives with its full history: where it slept, at what temperature, and in whose care. Provenance is not a feature here; it is the entire point.

Our members range from restaurateurs building lists to families building legacies. What they share is patience — the understanding that the finest things in a cellar, like the finest things anywhere, cannot be rushed.
