The Story
A bottle with a past
The world's southernmost fine-wine region, where vines grow against schist and snowline. Cloudbreak farms a single basalt ridge biodynamically, and the 2020 was picked entirely under headlamps in the cold hours before dawn.
“Pinot here tastes of thyme and distance. We try not to get in the way.”
The winemaker, Cloudbreak Vineyards
