The Story
A bottle with a past
Almadura releases its Gran Reserva only when the cellar master judges it ready — never sooner than a decade after harvest. The 2014 spent four years in American oak and six more sleeping in bottle beneath the bodega.
“In Rioja, the cellar finishes what the vineyard begins. Ours simply takes its time.”
The winemaker, Viña Almadura
